Why we exist
It is our duty as adults to defend children. That's why Protect our Kids was established.
Childhood is short, and it doesn't come back. Let kids be kids.
This campaign brings parents, teachers and concerned Australians together to demand an end to the explicit material and sexual ideologies now present in our schools.
What many of us thought was a one-off at our local school has turned out to be a national experience.
External organisations are going into schools under the banner of sexual education and putting explicit images and ideas in front of our children. The scale of it is hard to believe. Across every state and territory, these organisations have received over $230 million in government funding in the last five years alone. On top of that, they train tens of thousands of educators every year — supplying lesson plans, materials and demonstrations.
Overwhelmingly, parents had no idea. Without real transparency or disclosure, children have been shown material most parents would never have agreed to. We believe there is no place for this in the education system.
Parents are responsible for their children's moral formation. It is not the role of governments, or the providers they fund, to impose their ideologies on our kids. That belief is what drives this campaign, and Protect our Kids exists to restore it.
